Cortez Windmill Village is a 55+ community with 109 homes located just 8 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Bradenton, FL. It's a small community whose streets are lined with tall palm trees. A new mini activity center has been added next to the pool to accommodate a computer lab, exercise room, billiards area and easy access rest rooms for pool users. This is in addition to the lovely , air conditioned activity center that provides a perfect gathering place for hours of entertainment and fun. The Sunshine Community Corporate Team along with the Cortez manager plans two Resident Appreciation Days every year. In the spring, it's a Strawberry Festival and in the summer a BBQ. Several years ago, Newby management developed a resident satisfaction monitoring system for each of their communities called InsightTRACK. Once a year residents are randomly surveyed for their opinions. Tracking this information from year to year helps management serve its residents better.
