Florida’s east coast is a haven for travelers and settlers from all over the world. And you’ll certainly find and energetic group of people here at Eastern Shores. An active lifestyle is an easy transition for these folks. Shuffleboard, Bocce, pool table, craft classes, Bingo, pot lucks and Bible studies are just some of the many activities enjoyed by residents, but it’s really the people who make life here full and rewarding.
Eastern Shores is host to141 home sites and is located just 4 mi from the beach. Fishing and other river activities are within walking distance (just 3/4 mi) The Y.M.C.A. is just 3 mi. away and only 1 mi to a wonderful aquatic center, churches, shopping and restaurants.
The Sunshine Community Corporate Team along with the Eastern Shores manager plans a Resident Appreciation Day every year in the spring, a Strawberry Festival. This event is always a well-attended big event.
Several years ago, Newby management developed a resident satisfaction monitoring system for each of their communities called InsightTRACK. Once a year residents are randomly surveyed for their opinions. Tracking this information from year to year helps management serve its residents better. Management teams who excel in service are rewarded.
Newby Management makes available the services of a Corporate Chaplain, Rev. Rick Chaffin.
